Another post

Man, I haven't posted in a while. I kinda forget about the blog. I usually post pics & stuff on facebook & intended for the blog to be for longer updates that maybe not everyone would want to read about.
Kiley is 8 1/2 months old now. Her 3rd tooth just started poking through today! She likes to crawl, but only until she can get something to pull up on. I think she's going to skip walking & go straight to climbing! She really wants to walk. I'm not sure I'm ready for that, but it would be nice if she were a little better on her feet so maybe I wouldn't worry as much about her falling. Tile floors seemed so nice when we moved into this house! I'm considering a bubble-wrap outfit for her...
I can't believe it's almost Christmas again! Hard to believe at this time last year Kiley still wasn't here. I much prefer having her here than in my belly. I really don't miss being pregnant. It was all well worth it though :)

What a pain!!

So, I am trying to close my yahoo account because it is just full of junk & mostly because it keeps sending out stupid e-mails with crazy links. I've been using my hotmail account more anyway. It's just so annoying trying to switch all my important stuff over to my hotmail address (paypal, ebay, etc.) Everything makes you confirm that you really do want to change it, which is good I guess, just annoying!

In other more exciting news, Kiley is 6 months old today!! She is about 25 1/2 inches & 16 lbs (according to our not-very-accurate measurements). She's accomplished a lot since last month...she can sit up all by herself, she can scoot a little (backwards only so far, LOL), she can suck her toes, and she started eating solids today! We gave her some cooked baby carrots. She did pretty good, got them mostly in her mouth...dropped them a lot...but overall I think she ate some & got the taste & I think she will start getting the idea of eating big people food! :)

Another thing...I went to the Cradles 2 Crayons sale today (it's a consignment sale they have here twice a year). I got some ADORABLE outfits & things for Kiley for super cheap! Today was the 1/2 off sale...I love sales! I got her several Christmas dresses that are soooo stinking cute! I think I have a weakness for Christmas outfits!

September!

Wow, hard to believe it's already September!  Kiley will be 6 months old this month.  Not sure how that is even possible.  She's so amazing.  I can't get over it.  She is such a good, sweet baby.  At least when she is well rested, that is :)  When she's tired she's Miss Fussy Pants!lol  But since we have her on a pretty good schedule she is almost always all smiles.  Sometimes I wonder if it hurts her face to smile that much!lol  She hasn't gotten crawling or scooting down yet.  She can rotate her body while on her belly.  She always turns to her right (clockwise).  It's pretty funny.  She always rolls to her right also.  I'm not sure if she knows she can roll both ways, LOL.
The other day after she had woken up from a nap she was fussing wanting somebody to come in there & get her so she could play.  Anyway, I went in there & she had one hand on the top railing of her crib & was trying to figure out how to get the other one up there.  That kid.  She is definitely her Daddy's girl.  When he was little he kicked the slats out of his crib.
Since Kiley will be 6 months old we will be starting solids soon.  We're waiting until she can sit up by herself.  Our plan as of right now is to do baby-led weaning with her.  It's basically letting the baby feed themselves with managable soft pieces, of course.  You don't spoon feed & therefore do not feed the pureed baby food.  We'll see how it goes.  We may still spoon feed her sometimes, if she will let us! (She tries to hold the bottle herself now; it's hard to get those hands out of the way sometimes!)  I think she'll really like eating "big people" food.  She already thinks she's a big girl.  She's like a chihuahua...she doesn't realize how small she is!
Well, that's what's going on here!  I don't know about you but I'm ready for some FALL weather!!

New Week

Okay, I am officially the world's worst blogger!  I don't update much, but I'm not sure anybody really reads this, so I guess it's okay!
Kiley is getting more mobile (help!)  She can't crawl, but she can roll both ways & when she's on her belly she can scoot herself completely around.  It's like a suprise going into her room...you never know how she's gonna be in her crib!  She's already getting into stuff & she can't even crawl yet.  I'm sure the fun is yet to come!
I can't believe she's already 5 1/2 months old!  Time is really flying by.  Seems like I was pregnant forever & now times going in fast forward.  I am thankful for every day with that sweet baby girl.  She is more amazing than I ever could have imagined!

Wiggle Worm!

First off, Happy Birthday to my precious niece Kathryn!!  I can't believe she's 1 already!

I put Kiley down for a little nap before church.  She was in her crib with her head to the North.  I just went in to check on her & make sure she was asleep.  Her head was to the South!  She is such a little wiggler!  I think we will have our hands full for sure once she is more mobile.  She can now roll both ways, so maybe she will be one of those babies who just rolls everywhere!LOL
Our trip to Nebraska was pretty good.  It was a quick trip & a LONG drive, but it was worth it.  I think I learned some things about travelling with a baby:  1)  Don't travel soon after she's gotten shots.  2)  Don't pack EVERYTHING.  Really.  She won't get bored!hehe  3)  Let her get at least one good non-car nap in before leaving.  I always want to leave early in the morning, but it's really hard for her to nap well in a moving vehicle, so I think it's worth it to leave later.
We got to take Kiley swimming which was so much fun!  She loves water.  She usually gets me soaked when I give her a bath because she kicks so much in the water (see...she's always moving!)
Not much else going on here except teething.  At first we weren't sure if she was, but we're pretty sure now.  Fun times!  It doesn't seem to be bothering her too terribly much though, so it could definitely be worse!!  She just wants to chew on everything & anybody!

The Dreaded Appointment

Kiley had her 4 mo. check-up yesterday.  I've been dreading it for oh, about 2 months now!LOL  I was just worried about her shots.  Now that she's a lot more alert & smiley I figured it'd be super sad.  I'm pretty sure it was harder on Brad & I than on Kiley though!  She did cry, but she didn't scream like I expected & it didn't last very long either.  So far she's been fine, no fever & just barely fussy.  We've given her a little Tylenol today just because it seemed like her legs were hurting her a little.  Her weight is up to 14 lbs. 4 oz. (a little about the 50% mark) her height is now 25.5 inches (75-90%) & her head was about at the 50th percent.  Seems crazy to me that she's already grown 5.5 inches since she was born!  Not surprising though, since she's already outgrowing some of her 3-6 mo. stuff (length wise).  I think she's taking after my side of the family so far...longer body & shorter legs.  We'll see if it stays that way or not!  That's pretty much it for that appt.  She's doing great, healthy, reaching all her milestones!  We're gonna wait till 6 mo. to start solids.  That's the latest recommendation from the AAP & the pediatrician said there's no real reason to start before then.
On Monday Kiley had her 2nd eye dr. appt.  He thought her eyes looked fine & he was no longer concerned about them being crossed (well, he was never really concerned...just being safe)  He still wants to see her at 1 yr. just to make sure.
That's it with us.  We're leaving in the morning for Nebraska.  We're gonna stay in Oklahoma tomorrow.  That 12 hr. drive to York is long for us adults, I can't imagine trying to get Kiley to go 12 hrs. in a car!  Not to mention with stops & everything it'd take a whole lot longer than 12 hrs.!  I'm taking Monday & Tuesday off next week.  It'll be a fun trip & I know my parents are excited to see Kiley (and I guess they'll put up with seeing Brad & I too, lol)

What a week!

This has been a crazy week.  I think I'm ready for a new one!  I was already super tired from working last weekend.  Then Tuesday I had to work the 3-11 shift at work & it was BUSY!  I was so tired by the time I got off.  Then Wednesday I was off but was dragging the whole day because of working the night before.  Oh, and I dropped my phone in the toilet & it quit working :(  Then this morning my dad had a heart attack.  It's one of those times that I hate living so far away.  I have a conspiracy to get all my family to live in Texas! (preferably West Texas since that's where we're at!)  Really that's as far as the conspiracy goes...just saying I want them all to live here.
With weeks like this it's easy to get focused on what's going wrong.  Thankfully, no matter how crazy life can get, God is still God.  Sometimes that is the only thing that gets me through...knowing that whatever happens, he'll be there through it.  I was at a ladies group on Thursday & the topic was Joy, which is my middle name by the way :)  I can definitely use more joy.  It's easy to get distracted & focused on the wrong things.  So, in trying to be focused on the right things, here are some good things that have happened this week:  Since I worked the evening shift, that means I get paid more, I was able to get another phone for pretty cheap, my dad had minimal damage to his heart, Kiley is starting to laugh a lot especially when we dance (which I'm sure is pretty hilarious to watch!), I got to see a couple of good friends that I don't see nearly enough even though we all live close, I got some Baskin Robbins ice cream with a coupon I had for donating blood :)  There are more, but that's a pretty good list. 
Another thing I've been thinking about is how when something bad happens, people say "Oh, it was meant to be" or "it happened for a reason".  Sorry if you're one of those people that says that--I know the intentions are good--but it drives me nuts!  I guess I never thought about it much till I heard it after losing our first pregnancy.  For me, that was the last thing that I wanted to hear.  And if "it" (whatever "it" is) happens for a reason...then what is it!?!?!  I came across a verse while I was pregnant with Kiley.  It's one I've known pretty much all my life, but when I read it that time it was different.  "Trust in the Lord with all of your heart & lean not on your own understanding."  Prov. 3:5.  I realized that I will not always understand why things happen.  But that's okay.  I don't have to.  I just have to trust God.  God is faithful & he can make good come out of even the worst situations.  Even crazy weeks like this one!

4 Months

Kiley is 4 months old (as of Sunday).  It's hard to believe.  My pregnancy seemed to last forever & now time seems to be going so fast!  We weighed her using the Wii Fit (not sure how accurate that is!) & she's about 15 lbs.  Seems about right.  She's 25 inches long according to our measurments; she's not the easiest thing to measure!  She's definitely growing fast.  I remember when we got her carseat, I thought it would last forever with the maximums being 30 lbs. & 30 in.  Now I'm not so sure!  Oh well, at least we're still good for a while!
Kiley is awesome!  She is so much fun!!!  She is the happiest little baby, as long as she has food & sleep :)  We got her on a schedule & she is doing awesome.  She is actually sleeping better, I think (and so are we!)  It's not a super strict rigid schedule or anything.  We've learned that Kiley will talk to anything that has a face (people, toys, etc.)  She also LOVES books!  Brad reads to her pretty much every day.  They will lay on the floor in her room & he'll hold the book up & read to her.  She just looks at the pictures & makes cute little noises.  Another thing is that I think I have accidentally taught Kiley to make noises with her tongue!  I would stick my tongue out & blow so it would make a noise b/c it would make her smile.  Well, now she has figured out how to do it!!  It's really cute :)
Next week is Doctor week for Kiley.  On Monday she goes back to Dr. Cockings, who is the pediatric eye doctor.  He's a different kind of guy...pretty goofy, but he's a good doctor, so I can't complain!  Hopefully everything still looks okay with her eyes.  They are definitely not as crossed as they were, and a lot of people have told us that.  Her left eye though still seems to turn in the slightest bit.  I wouldn't even notice it if I weren't looking for it, so maybe it's normal.  She doesn't seem to have any trouble seeing or tracking objects or anything.  On Wednesday, Kiley goes to see Dr. Hanson, her pediatrician.  I'm really dreading her 4 mo. shots :(  I'd rather her be safe & healthy though.  I'm wondering what she's going to tell us about starting solids, since this is when a lot of people start.  We're leaning towards waiting till 6 months.  That is what the latest recommendations are.
Well, that's all that's going on with us.  I'm working the evening (3-11) shift tonight.  Hope I can stay awake!  I better go take a nap...

In case you were wondering, we are still around!  Kiley is a little chatterbox.  She likes to talk herself to sleep.  Today she even laughed!  I love coming home to my sweet baby girl & her happy smiles :)  She likes to eat her hands too.  She rolls over some during tummy time.  I think she's getting ready to drop a nap, because we'll put her down in the evening & she often doesn't sleep for it...she just talks & will start fussing, like "Hey, why am I in here?  I'm not tired!!!"  That's about it for us.  Brad's still doing good being a stay-at-home dad & I'm still doing good being a working mom!  It is sooo hot here.  We're hoping to maybe go camping some this summer (in a cabin...we'll wait till Kiley's a little older to try out tent camping!)  I just read what I wrote & realized it is very random & kinda all over the place...sorry!  I hope you are doing good wherever you are & that you are staying cool.  Here is a picture of our precious girl!

3 months!

Kiley is 3 months today.  I'm not sure how...it doesn't seem like it's been that long!  We weighed her (with our Wii Fit & our regular scales) & apparantly she weighs about 14 pounds!  She is about 24 inches long too.  We took her picture for the baby book & I put her in the same outfit I had on her when I took her picture at 1 month.  The pants didn't fit! :(  She's getting so big...it's funny to us when people say she's small!  I guess it's all relative.  I am amazed at what a happy baby she is.  She has the biggest smiles.  Really the only times she's not happy is when she's tired or hungry.  I love getting to come home to my happy baby :)

First Day Back

We all survived my first day back at work.  It went really well, actually.  I forgot how much I like my job.  Brad called me a couple of times just to let me know that him & Kiley were doing good :)  I feel like I'm supposed to be all sad & depressed about going back to work, but I'm not.  It would definitely be hard going back if we had to leave her at daycare.  I'm glad Brad & I both have jobs that we like!

On another note, we decided to get a second car.  With a baby, it'll just be easier to have two.  It's easier than having to drag Kiley out for Brad to take me to work & it's nice for him to have a car in case he needs it.  It's an '09 Honda Fit.  Good gas mileage, good on safety, and lots of space, plus a good price :)  here's a picture:

We have the Seaton reunion this weekend in Brownfield (30 min. away).  It should be fun & Kiley will get to meet more of her relatives!  I hope she does okay being gone for so long...hopefully she'll nap in the car!

Sunday Success!

Well, we all 3 made it through a church service!  woohoo!  Brad & I have been taking turns taking Kiley out if she gets too fussy since she misses a nap Sunday mornings; we don't want to disturb other people if she's wailing.  Today we didn't have to though.  Yay!  She ate right before & we left her in her carseat for a while & rocked it (but then had to take her out b/c she gets so hot in it b/c of the headrest!)  Brad sat with her by the a/c vent & I think the noise helps.  She got tired enough at the end that she finally fell asleep in her carseat.

Kiley's cute thing of the day:  She has this projector/soother thing that plays music or ocean sounds & projects a picture on the ceiling.  Well, she's not really into those aspects of it, but she LOVES to look at it.  It's got this starfish on the front of it.  She will just look at it & smile & carry on a conversation with it.  I had to take Mr. Starfish away so that she would take a nap!!

1 Week of Freedom

Next Thursday I start back to work after 12 weeks off.  It's going to be hard.  I hope the adjustment goes well.  I'm not too worried about leaving Kiley.  I will definitely miss her though!  I'm thankful that Brad will be able to stay home with her.  He's a great Daddy!  I'm not looking forward to being in a new routine.  It feels like the first day of school or something...I always prefered the second or later weeks, after I had already gotten used to everything.  I'm sure it will be fine, just an adjustment.  Speaking of routines, Kiley definitely does great having a routine (maybe she gets it from me!)  On days when her routine gets thrown off (like church days!)...no fun!  When she has her routine...she's such a happy baby!  We're trying to get her on more of a set schedule, just because I'm starting work & all.
Oh, and anyone who has been concerned about Kiley not developing verbally as well since Brad & I are pretty quiet...no need to worry...she is quite the little talker!  It's adorable!!

8 hours

8 hours...that is how long Kiley slept last night!  It would be awesome if this continues, since I have to go back to work on June 2.  Of course I woke up in the middle of the night & had to check to make sure she was breathing (several times).  I'm pretty sure she slept that long because she didn't take an evening nap (she didn't seem to mind though...)  We played softball with a group from church.  I think Kiley liked being outside & being passed around.  She took a little nap in her carseat, but that's it.  Then we went home, she ate, and slept.  ALL.  NIGHT.  Now if only we could figure out a good Sunday schedule for church...(she ends up missing a morning nap & doesn't do so well without that one!)

Adventures in Cloth Diapering

While I was pregnant, Brad & I decided we wanted to try cloth diapering.  I started looking online & became overwhelmed pretty quickly!  It's not like back in the day where you have cloth, pins, and rubber pants.  There are so many different kinds now & lots of cute designs.  We bought a couple different kinds to try out.  Then we discovered Itsy Bitsy Bums & their diaper trial.  We got to try out many different types of cloth diapers for 3 weeks.  Then we send back what we don't want & get a refund.  It was way more fun than I thought it would be!  Cloth is really good for us, because Kiley goes through sooooo many diapers.  I can't even count the times we will change her & not 2 mintues later, she needs changed again!!  And really, cloth diapering isn't that much more work & it saves money in the long run (plus there's less trash which is always a plus!).  I still need to get some more, because like I said before, we go through lots of diapers & I don't want to have to do laundry every single day.  I got a couple of really cute diapers from Baby Steals for half price!  Here is the super cute one that looks like blue jeans!

In other news:  Kiley is doing GREAT on the Zantac.  Apparantly it tastes very yucky, but we're managing.  She doesn't spit up nearly as much as she used to & she's not making gurgling/gagging/choking noises when she sleeps anymore.  Plus, she doesn't cry as much & she sleeps better (Enough sleep=Happy Kiley!)  I can only imagine how unhappy she was...basically having heartburn & having to lay on your back & not be able to do anything about it.  Anyway, we are very glad she is feeling better!

Also, I think it's funny how active Kiley is; she always moved a lot during ultrasounds too.  If you hold her, she always wants to be looking around, or standing up, or kicking; she thinks she's big stuff.  During tummy time, she kicks like crazy.  I'm sure we'll have our hands full once she starts crawling!

Kiley 2 Months

Yesterday Kiley turned 2 months old.  It's gone by fast!  Today was her 2 month check-up.  She is doing great!  She weighs around 11 pounds (50 to 75th percentile) & is 23.5 inches long (~90th percentile).  I don't remember her head measurement but it was about at the 50th percentile.  She got 3 shots plus the oral rotavirus thing.  It was so sad :(  BUT much better than her getting some really horrible scary disease & having to be in the hospital.  I think she paid us back for making her get shots.  I was nursing her in the exam room (she was starving & they said I could just stay in there & feed her).  Well...she had a diaper blow-out ...and it got all over my pants.  Very gross!  Then when Brad was changing her diaper on the exam table, she peed all over the table!  It was quite a mess, but I guess that's what we get for making her get poked!  We're starting her on Zantac for reflux issues, so hopefully that makes her feel better.  Other than that she's doing great.  She's started smiling & cooing & she's quite a wiggle worm!  I'll post her 2 month picture later :)

Kiley's First Easter

Happy Easter everyone!!  Today has been a very eventful day for the Seaton household.  We had decided that today would be the first time we would take Kiley to church.  We were still a little paranoid about germs & such, but it's the end of April so most of the nasty stuff should be over by now!  She did great at church!  I wasn't sure how it was gonna go since we've kinda got a little routine going and she ended up missing naps because of church.  I think Sundays are going to be crazy days at our house!  At our church they give Bibles to all the babies, so Kiley got hers today.  It was so nice to be able to take her to church.  Our church family has really been there for us after our loss & then throughout our pregnancy with Kiley.  We are very blessed & glad for Kiley to get to have such wonderful people to be around!!

After church we had lunch at our house, made by Brad's mom.  It was yummy!  Kiley finally fell asleep (she was pretty fussy from missing her morning sleep times).  I got to hide Easter eggs for my niece (and Brad, lol).  I love Easter egg hunts!!

Our next big adventure is in a couple of weeks when we travel to Oklahoma.  My brother is graduating with his Master's so we're gonna go.  Kiley will get to meet her aunt & uncle & cousins on my side of the family!

So, I haven't updated our blog in what seems like forever!  Especially since Kiley is 2 weeks old now!
Her birth went pretty well.  She never did turn head-down, so we had the c-section scheduled for Thursday March 10 at noon.  We were supposed to arrive at the hospital at 10 a.m.  Great...one last chance to sleep in!  We had an ultrasound on March 9...just to make sure she hadn't flipped last minute.  We got some stuff done around the house that evening then went to bed.  I figured I wouldn't be able to sleep, but I just didn't think about what was coming up.  At around 4:30 I woke up for one of my many nighttime bathroom trips.  I was thinking it was great how well I had been sleeping.  I went back to bed & was having a very uncomfortable Braxton-Hicks contraction (I'd been having them off & on throughout the end of my pregnancy, but they had recently been getting more annoying & uncomfortable).  I got up to go to the bathroom again & felt like I hadn't quite made it (Hey, sometimes you have bladder problems when you have a baby sitting on your bladder.)  I thought it was kinda wierd & half wondered if my water had broken.  I went & changed and had more leaking...Okay, am I losing all control of my bodily functions?  (Note:  I had read lots of blogs/posts about pregnant women thinking their water had broken only to find out they had peed themselves.  I always knew I was destined to be one of those women...)  So Brad half wakes up at this point & I tell him either my water broke or I just peed myself.  I was kinda feeling nervous at this point, but since we already had the c-section scheduled I didn't know if they would just have me wait or what.  At some point I called Labor & Delivery & told them the story.  They said I could either come in or wait about an hour & see if I am still leaking.  I decide to wait (so I can shower, get some last minute things done around the house, etc.)  I also wanted to let Brad sleep as long as possible since I figure there's no need for us to both be exhausted.  I did try sleeping at some point but it didn't happen.  At around 7 we finally went to the hospital.  They tested & it was indeed amniotic fluid & I was dilated 2-3 cm.  So I was in labor!  My doctor said it was too bad the baby was breech since my labor was progressing so well.  I have to say, too, that I'm glad those were real contractions because they were feeling pretty painful & I though I was just a wimp who couldn't even handle braxton-hicks contractions!  So, they got everything going & Kiley was born at 8:33 a.m. weighing 7 lbs, 12 oz (take that all you people who said I was too small!LOL) & 20 inches long.  She is a sweet baby (so far, LOL).  We are very blessed to have her in our lives!

Game Plan

We had another appointment today (36 weeks, 1 day...woohoo!)  Dr. Suit did an ultrasound & Kiley is still breech, which I was pretty sure she was.  She's frank breech, so she's got both feet up near her head (and sometimes in my ribs!)  We discussed our options with the doctor & mostly we had a lot of questions.  We decided to decline doing the version & just go straight to a c-section.  We will do it around 39 weeks (unless we needed to earlier for some reason).  If Kiley does manage to turn head down we can cancel the c-section.  We feel pretty good about our decision.  Neither of us was very comfortable with the version plus this way Kiley gets to incubate a couple weeks longer :)
So...that is that.  We got our carseat checked today, to make sure we were installing it properly & all that.  Looks like Brad did a very good job.  The lady was impressed.  I made him show me how to do it too so I would know.
Also, all the furniture is done for her room.  The storage unit/chaning table isn't in her room yet because it's still de-fuming in the garage.  So...looks like everything is coming together!  We appreciate everyone's prayers & excitement for us!!  Just a few more weeks now!

35 weeks down, 5 to go (maybe?)

I've tried posting earlier, but I think this blog doesn't like me.  It hardly ever lets me post pictures.
Well, here's the latest:  Had an appointment today...we've made it to the weekly ones!  yay!  Every time we make it to an appointment I feel like we've accomplished something.  Everything seems fine with the pregnancy.  They did an ultrasound to check Kiley's position (which I was soooo curious about because I feel all sorts of body parts all over the place!LOL)  She was breech at our 30 week ultrasound....and she is still breech.  She still has time to turn on her own & we'll do another ultrasound next week to see if she has.  If not it sounds like we have 2 options:  1) Have an external cephalic version (ECV) since my fluid levels look good & baby is doing good or 2)  Have a c-section.  I don't really like either option honestly!  Hopefully she will turn on her own.  I've considered (not seriously) standing on my head, but I'm pretty sure I would get stuck!

31 Weeks

Well, as you can see, we are both growing steadily!  Lots of people have told me that I started showing overnight.  I don't know about that, but okay :)  We start going to the doctor every 2 weeks now.  The only concern (which isn't really a concern yet) is that Kiley is breech.  She's still got time to turn though, so hopefully she will.  I think she's just really comfy :)  The official estimate is that she'll be around 7 pounds when she's born.  Our childbirth classes are going really well.  We're learning a lot & I'm glad we're taking them.  Brad is making progress on the crib (yay!!)  He also got the room all painted & I finished the curtains, so at least she'll have a cute room to come home to!

We had our 3rd trimester ultrasound today!  Since everything's going well, it's our last one unless something comes up that needs to be checked out.
First...she is still a girl!  And for all those people that like to remind us how they get the gender wrong sometimes (especially with girls), we have had very clear pictures of her girl parts so I'm telling you, she's a girl!!
Second...she is measuring right on track.  For all the people who like to comment that I don't look big enough, yada yada yada...you are wrong.  She's still got ~10 weeks in there...give it time & I'm sure I'll look miserable :)
Third...here are the pictures!  Kiley is still camera shy.  She had her hand in front of her face the whole time & would not move it despite the ultrasound tech creating an earthquake in my belly.  She did start moving her hand between a fist & open palm...it was so cool!!  She's so talented :)

Still Around...

So, I haven't posted in awhile, but we are still doing good!  Here's a quick update of what's been going on with us:

• Had a doctor's appointment a couple weeks ago.  Everything looked good.  I was measuring exactly what I should be (so for all you people who say I'm too small, you are wrong!)
• I turned 27.  Happy birthday to me!
• We had Christmas with Brad's family & with mine.  My parents stayed with us for about a week & my brother's family was there for a couple of days.  It was a lot of fun!  Kiley sure got a lot of presents & she's not even born yet!
• I took (& passed!) my glucose screening test.  And my HIV test, in case you were worried :)
• I am now in the 3rd & final trimester, and it's 2011...the year we'll have our baby!
• We started our prepared childbirth classes last night.  They last for 5 weeks.  I'm really glad we're going cuz I'm pretty clueless & scared about all that!!  We toured Labor & Delivery, which was kinda wierd cuz the only other time either of us has been there was when I had my D&C before we knew my first pregnancy was ectopic.  I'm glad to have much happier reasons to be going there now :)

Well, there you have it.  We have another ultrasound & appt. in about 2 weeks.  Can't wait to see how she's grown & what she looks like now.  I start going for appointments every two weeks after that.  AAAAAH!  We're gonna have a baby!!
