VOTE!

I put a little poll up on the side of the blog (It's under the counter thingies, somwhere over there----------->).  So, vote on whether you think our baby's a boy or a girl!  Also feel free to give us name suggestions!  But just know if you suggest a really horrible name as a joke, and we end up liking it & picking it, then you have to live with the guilt! :P

Baby's first piece of mail

So, our baby (who I read is now about the size of a lemon) is already getting mail!  My dad the librarian is the book supplier of the family & sent several books for our baby.  I guess Brad & I will practice reading them to each other until the baby can hear our voices :)

2nd Trimester!

I am 14 weeks today which means I am out of the 1st trimester!  yay!  When I first found out I was pregnant the 2nd trimester seemed like FOREVER away & now here it is.  It is really starting to hit me that I'm pregnant, which is very exciting & scary at the same time.  I'm sure we'll figure everything out & I can tell Brad he was worried for nothing :D (I like to pretend like Brad is the one who worries, but really it is me...he pretty much never worries!)
P.S.  I hope in my last post it didn't sound like I was complaining about morning sickness.  I wasn't, I just don't mind seeing it go :)  I enjoy don't mind having symptoms & am thankful for each day that I get to be pregnant!

Goodbye Morning Sickness!

I think my "morning" sickness has finally gone away.  I've had several times that I thought it was gone, and was wrong.  I really think it's gone this time though.  I don't have days where I feel like I'm dying anymore, and I can actually eat more than PB&J sandwiches & orange juice!  Although some foods I still will not go near...   Maybe I will even start cooking again...poor Brad, it's a wonder he made it through my morning sickness!  He was a lot more patient with me than I think I would've been with him.  I can't count the number of PB&J sandwiches he made for me for work, and he even cut off the crust for me :)  I still say he has the harder part of this pregnancy thing...having to put up with me! :)

13 weeks!!

We opted for an optional non-invasive screening test that tests for Down's syndrome, trisomy 18, and I think maybe some other stuff.  All I know is, I get extra peeks at my baby!  We got some really good pictures this time, and once again it kept moving around a lot.  Also, we got to hear the heartbeat :) which was 153 bpm.  I am 13 weeks today (according to the doctor's office...they moved the due date up a bit at one of my early ultrasounds), so I am almost out of the first trimester!  We go back in a month (Oct. 11) for the rest of the bloodwork & another ultrasound & they'll be able to tell us if it's a girl or a boy!
Note:  I have no idea how to make the pictures do what I want them to, and I'm not patient enough to figure it out :)

Beginning Belly Pictures

Okay, so we took some beginning "Belly Pics" to see how my belly grows during this pregnancy (which I cannot wait for, by they way!)  These are at about 11 weeks.  I also took one of Brad!LOL  The goal is for my belly to get bigger & his to get smaller.  (He is sticking his out, by the way!)

Here's the latest picture of our little one!  It was moving around so much!  Brad said it waved at him.LOL  In this picture you can see it's head and a hand sticking up and it's little feet on the left :)
